How is my car valued & how much will I get?

Your car is valued using specialist software and market evaluation tool. We value your vehicle on the current market conditions which are regularly updated. These tools, our expertise and extensive experience in buying and selling cars ensures you will get a true, up to date and precise valuation.

All vehicles are valued individually, which is why we do not give you an automated response. Instead, we research, evaluate and get the best price possible for you within 24 hours of your request.

Why does my car need an inspection after the initial valuation?

We need to make sure the online description of the vehicle matches the details and condition of the physical car. The price given on our website does not constitute a contract of purchase. The details you input, condition and exact specification need to be checked and confirmed before we offer to buy your vehicle. We could find your car is actually worth more than the online valuation, or potentially worth less.

It’s very important to be as precise and truthful as possible when inputting details into our online system.

My car doesn’t run, will you still buy it?

Yes. We may offer to collect your car free of charge, removing it from your premises. Please get in touch with us to talk about the options.

I have a personal registration, will you still buy the car?

Yes, you need to fill out a V317 application to transfer or retain a vehicle registration number provided by the as a downloadable form on the DVLA website. You can also collect a hard copy from your local post office.

My car is written off, will you still buy it?

Yes. Of course this is subject to inspection and severity of its damage but it’s always worth getting in touch to explore your options.

Why do you need my email and telephone number?

Different to other car buying websites, we do not offer a fully automated valuation online, just an indication of your car’s potential value. This is why we need your email address and telephone number to contact you to confirm the true valuation of your vehicle subject to inspection.

What do I do if there is still finance on my car?

We will clear any finance on your vehicle as part of the buying process. Due to “Data Protection” laws you will need to request a settlement figure in writing from your finance company. You can also chose to settle any finance yourself, however we will need formal written notice of payment from your finance company before we pay for your vehicle. If your outstanding finance exceeds the sale price we have offered, you will need to pay the shortfall to us by debit card or bank transfer when we purchase the vehicle.

What happens to my car tax?

The valuation given through the online process incorporates a contribution from the road fund license and must be handed over with the car.

Where do I take my car once sale agreed?

You will need to take the car to our registered office in Swansea only 5 minutes off J48 M4. Alternatively If you need the car to be collected, this can be organised too but may incur costs depending on its location.
